Unfortunately, no. Partial resurfacing creates visible seams and the new finish won't bond properly with the old surface, leading to premature failure. The entire pool interior must be resurfaced together for a uniform, long-lasting result. However, you can choose to upgrade tile or coping separately if the existing finish is still in good condition.

The pool must be completely drained for resurfacing. We use professional pumps to drain the water, typically directing it to a storm drain or suitable drainage area per local regulations. After the new finish cures, we refill with fresh water and balance all chemistry before you swim. The refill typically takes 12-24 hours depending on your water pressure.

There is some mess involved, but we take precautions to minimize impact. We use tarps to protect your deck and landscaping, and clean up thoroughly each day. The old surface removal creates debris and dust, but we contain and remove it. After completion, we pressure wash the deck area. Most customers are surprised how clean we leave things!
